Spring Cafe Menu [March 15 - mid-April 2025].

After a cold winter, it will soon be the season of light red.
Only at this time of year, the cream in the sausage coffee at Dessert Cafe Chorakukan is dyed cherry blossom-colored in spring attire.
Please enjoy with sweet and sour tasting sweets made with cherry blossoms and strawberries, which are only available in spring.

Cherry blossom eclipses

  • Price: ¥2,200
  • The glossy candy spheres are filled with a variety of tastes and textures. When you break the candy, delicious delights pop out, just like a treasure chest.
    Cherry blossoms éclat is a light red candy work filled with tonka bean ice cream similar to sakura mochi, sweet and sour griotte cherries, and meringue and almond croquant with a delightful texture, and is only available during this season.

Three kinds of mille-feuille

  • Price ¥2,200
  • Special sweets commemorating the designation as an important cultural property.
    The three pies are designed with the family crest of Chourakukan's founder, Kichihei Murai, "Maru ni Mitsu Kashiwa" (three oak trees in a circle), and each pie has a different flavor, inspired by the different architectural styles used in each room of the Chourakukan.
    The lemon sauce brings together three different combinations of custard cream and blueberry jam, black tea custard cream and raspberry jam, and pistachio custard cream and strawberry jam.
  • Strawberry Fiantine

    • Price: ¥2,100
    • The crimson strawberry sauce spreads like the hem of a noblewoman's dress.
      Crispy langdosher and pie crust, mille-feuille of special custard cream and large strawberries, this strawberry sweet has a delightful texture.
