Art Festival 2024] Piano Solo Concert [Finished
To express our gratitude for your patronage, we will hold the Art Festival in CHOURAKUKAN on September 29, 2024.
The theme of the Art Festival in CHOURAKUKAN 2024 is "Weaving Thoughts.
We offer a special experience at the intersection of food and artistic culture.
A solo piano concert will be held in the banquet room by Ayana Shimomura, a pianist at Chorakukan who graduated from Kyoto City University of Arts.
The music selected based on the theme of this year's Art Festival, "Weaving Thoughts," will be played with the rich tones of the Steinway.
Please enjoy an elegant afternoon of listening to the relaxing sounds of the piano.

Piano Solo Concert
- Time: Registration starts at 13:00 Performance 13:30-14:30 (with break)
- Free admission for those with admission tickets (from ¥1,000) to the various art festivals.
Advance reservations for the concert will be accepted.
Performer Profile
- Ayana Shimomura
- Graduated from Kyoto Horikawa Music High School and Kyoto City University of Arts. While in high school, performed in piano concerts by selected students and graduation concerts. She won the silver prize at the Kyoto Piano Competition 2012 and was selected for the 33rd National Competition of the Education Alliance Piano Audition in D Division. She has studied under Junko Ishida, Hiromi Koide, Irina Meduyeva, and Hibiki Tamura. She is currently active not only as a solo piano performer, but also as a restaurant piano player, performing at art appreciation events at elementary and junior high schools, and as an accompanist for various instruments, as well as teaching younger students.
