Piano Solo Concert

• Free admission for those with admission tickets (from ￥1,000) to the various art festivals.
  Advance reservations for the concert will be accepted.

Performer Profile

• Ayana Shimomura
• Graduated from Kyoto Horikawa Music High School and Kyoto City University of Arts. While in high school, performed in piano concerts by selected students and graduation concerts. She won the silver prize at the Kyoto Piano Competition 2012 and was selected for the 33rd National Competition of the Education Alliance Piano Audition in D Division. She has studied under Junko Ishida, Hiromi Koide, Irina Meduyeva, and Hibiki Tamura. She is currently active not only as a solo piano performer, but also as a restaurant piano player, performing at art appreciation events at elementary and junior high schools, and as an accompanist for various instruments, as well as teaching younger students.
