Gion Festival Stay Plan [July 16 & 17, 2025].

A special day of the Gion Festival with a close-up view of the Yamaboko Junko procession.
This plan will secure paid seats for the Yamaboko Junko (float procession) on July 17, the festival's pre-festival day.
On the eve of the parade, a cool French course incorporating hamo (pike conger), which is in season around the time of the Gion Festival.

We have prepared special offers that gently add to the flavor of Kyoto's festivals, such as the Gion Festival chimaki (long spear), which is a good luck charm against illness and calamity, a tenugui hand towel, and a welcome with Kyoto-style Japanese sweets and cold powdered green tea.
The bustle of the festival and the quiet afterglow. Enjoy a moment to savor the summer in Kyoto.
