We would like to express our sincere gratitude to all of you who continue to support us and make this honor possible.
The former Murai family's villa (Chorakukan) was completed as a guest house in 1909, and since then it has been a part of Kyoto's history together with the people of Kyoto for many years.
Chorakukan Co., Ltd. will take this designation as an important cultural property as an opportunity to respect the more than 100 years of history that have passed since then,
We will make further efforts to preserve and utilize it in order to pass on its value to future generations for the next 100 years.
This designation also allows us to provide you with a better understanding of not only the building, but also its founder, Kichibei Murai, and its cultural background.
It would be our greatest pleasure if we could provide you with an opportunity to express your interest.
We will continue to offer the same hospitality and enriching experience to our guests from home and abroad.
We would like to ask for your continued warm support.
