The theme of the Art Festival in CHOURAKUKAN 2024 is "Weaving Thoughts
A special experience at the intersection of food, art and culture
Piano, flute and piano violin duet will be performed by the Kyoto City University of Arts Music Department using a Bösendorfer in the lobby of the Main Building
Spend an autumn day listening to the elegant melodies echoing through the lobby stairwell to each room!

- Time: Piano and Flute Duo Performance 11:00-13:00
Piano and Violin Duet Performance 15:00-17:00 (with intermission) - The performance will be held in the museum, and you are free to enjoy it.
Performer Profile
Violin Sayo Oishi Currently a fourth-year student at Kyoto City University of Arts, she will serve as concert mistress of the Nara Junior Orchestra for about two years starting April 2019. She won the third prize in the star division of the 16th Cecilia International Music Competition for Strings, the third prize in the Age-U division of the 24th Osaka International Music Competition for Strings, the first prize in the 10th Aoniyoshi Music Competition Nara 2023 Professional Stage, and many other prizes. She has participated in the Seiji Ozawa Music School Opera Project XX. She has studied violin under Toshinobu Nakamura, Kazuto Umezawa, and Yasutsugu Toyoshima, and viola under Koichi Komine and Izumi Hosokawa. |

Piano Yuna Saito After graduating from Hiroshima University Senior High School and entering Waseda University, he re-applied and is currently a 4th year student at Kyoto City University of Arts, School of Music, majoring in piano. He has won first prize at the 14th Beuten Music Competition, first prize at the All Japan Piano Competition 2023 in the U30 division, and sixth prize at the 3rd Debussy International Piano Competition in the G division, among others. She has studied piano under Yoshiko Nishi, Motoko Kojima, Satoru Sunahara, and Naoko Miyashita. |

Flute Mami Kuroda Born in 2002, she started playing the piano at the age of 4 and the flute at 12. After graduating from Miyazaki Prefectural Hyuga High School, he is currently a fourth-year student at Kyoto City University of Arts, majoring in wind and percussion music. She has studied flute under Naoko Kirihara, Tomoko Kuroki, Yoshimi Oshima, Haruhiko Fukuda, and Yoshiko Nakagawa. |

Piano Yuna Ikoma Born in 2002. After graduating from Unebi High School in Nara Prefecture, she is currently a fourth-year student at Kyoto City University of Arts, Department of Music, majoring in piano. She won the grand prize in the solo division of the Nara Prefecture High School Solo Contest 2008. She also accompanies choral competitions such as N-Con and All Japan Chorus Association. She has studied under Tomoyuki Torii, Kazumi Okada, Kazuyo Matsui, Yuuki Abe, and Ryoma Takagi. |
