Shaved ice seriously created by a patissier.
Shaved ice, a Japanese summer tradition, and the traditional French pastry "Sabalin" meet in a Western-style building to form a single sweet treat.
Chorakukan Hyouka" is a new type of shaved ice that changes in flavor as you eat it.
The third edition will feature two varieties: "Berry Pistachio" and "Earl Grey Fig".

Chorakukan Hyouka Vol.3
- Berry pistachio :
Ice cream with pistachio condensed milk sauce and sweet and sour raspberry sauce. Decorated with light pistachio espuma cream.
This shaved ice combines the gorgeous sourness of berries with the nutty pistachio flavor. - Earl Grey fig:
The rich red wine sauce is made from organic figs grown in Nara prefecture with their skins, and the refreshing milk sauce with a hint of Earl Grey adds a touch of elegance to the dish.
Shaved ice to savor figs with their glossy kirsch-marinated pulp. - *Alcohol is used in both cases.

Mini drinks will be served in demitasse cups.

- The entire building will be closed for maintenance on August 27 (Tue.), 28 (Wed.) and September 11 (Wed.).
*Chorakukan ice cream will not be served on Sunday, September 29 due to the Art Festival.
