Commemorating the Designation of Important Cultural Property: Guided tours of the museum on Tuesdays only at 11:05 a.m. [December 3, 2024 - February 25, 2025].
The 115th anniversary year commemorates the designation of Chorakukan (former Murai family villa) as a National Important Cultural Property,
In honor of "115," a limited number of guided tours of the museum will be offered to café patrons every Tuesday from 11:05 a.m.
A guided tour of the museum by Chorakukan staff, including the Onari-no-Ma (Japanese-style room) and Chorakuan (hermitage), which are usually closed to the public.

- Fee: Free of charge
- Time: 11:00 assemble
11:05 Guided tour of the museum (20 min.)
11:30 Café use - *After the guided tour, use of the cafe (1 order per person) is required.
- *Guided tours are available by advance reservation only (limited number of people). Reservations will be closed when capacity is reached.
- Please make a reservation at 11:00 for the 11:05 guided tour of CHOURAKUKAN.
(If you book "seats only" at the same time, you will not be able to join the guided tour.)

- *Guided tours may be suspended depending on reservations.
*Not offered on holidays.
Reservations can be made from 30 days in advance via the web / by phone from the 1st of the previous month.

If you wish to cancel your reservation for this plan, please contact us by the morning of the day before. If you do not show up for your reservation without informing us, we may not be able to accept your next and subsequent reservations.
*If you are not at the museum by the start of the guided tour, you will not be able to participate in the guided tour (please refrain from joining the guided tour in the middle of the tour).
We are happy to seat you in the café.
