For a limited time only, we will offer a plan to experience teahouse games with maiko and geiko in the Onari-no-Ma Japanese-style room, which is not usually open to the public.
Even in the Meiji era (1868-1912), when Chorakukan was completed, the teahouse game was a familiar Kyoto tradition.
After playing in the teahouse, the LIBRARY BAR MADEIRA is reserved exclusively for overnight guests,

Ochaya Play Experience Plan
- Price: 200,000 yen per couple (including tax and service charge)
- Number of persons: 1 to 6
- Activities：Guided tour of the museum, experience of playing in a teahouse, chatting with gei-maiko (1 drink included)
- *Additional fees will be charged for meals and additional drinks.
Schedule
- 12:00-12:30 Tour of the museum by Chorakukan staff
- 12:30-13:00 Ochaya play experience at Onari-no-Ma, Japanese-style room on the 3rd floor (usually closed to the public)
- 13:00-13:30 Chat with Geisha at LIBRARY BAR MADEIRA
