Hat Hanger (Furniture designated as a cultural asset) [Lobby].

The hat rack with a mirror right after the entrance was made in Japan during the Meiji period (1868-1912) and has many curved hooks attached to it.

Although some parts are now missing, it also has a stick that can be propped up on either side,
I can just picture an English gentleman standing in front of this mirror with his stick propped up, hat removed and hanging on a hook, and his hair done.
